Clean Water Healthy Village

Save Village. Uplift The World

We build calabash cisterns that provide families with drinking water

The Story Behind Of Our Movement

Welcome to Clean Water-Health Village! Our mission is to improve the lives of villagers in Kenya by providing access to clean and safe drinking water. Our initiative focuses on constructing calabash cisterns in the village of Olekoros, Transmara.

We envision a healthier, more vibrant community where every person has the fundamental right to clean water. By implementing sustainable water solutions, we aim to enhance overall well-being and promote better health outcomes.

Objectives of our project

At Clean Water Healthy Family, we are committed to a multi-pronged approach to tackling the clean water crisis in rural Kenya. Our objectives focus on providing sustainable solutions through rainwater harvesting and local capacity building.

Below are our Objectives:

  • To collect water by means of Rain Water Harvesting
  • To supply safe drinking water for households in rural areas of Kenya
  • To store the roof water in Calabash Cisterns for safe drinking water in households.
  • To construct Calabash Cisterns for households with local available materials and local masons.
  • To organise these local trainings to train local masons.
  • To organise international training in East African countries like Uganda, Tanzania, etc.

We Take Action To Make Better Changes

Our goal reflects a commitment to improving the well-being and health of communities by ensuring access to clean water.
